Agape for Youth, Inc. is a dedicated nonprofit organization with over 37 years of experience in providing foster care, adoption through foster care, and reunification services to children and families in southwest Ohio. They are member of the Bridges Provider Network serving emancipated young adults 18-21. Our mission is to support and empower families while ensuring the safety and well-being of children.

Summary

Agape for Youth is looking for a motivated professional staff to work with young adults ages 18 to 21 transitioning from foster care to adulthood in south central counties in Ohio. Agape desires a candidate who resides in this area, has the ability to work remotely the majority of the time and is familiar with community resources and/or support available to young adults in Montgomery, Preble, Piqua, Greene, Miami and surrounding counties.

Responsibilities

• Duties include, but are not limited to case management, court reports, writing case plans, financial budgeting with the young adult and SACWIS entry. Qualified candidates should have.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or equivalent degree
• Computer program proficient, with SACWIS knowledge preferred
• Motivation to work with young adults
• Familiar with community resources and support available to young adults in Montgomery, Preble, Piqua, Greene, Miami and surrounding counties.
• Working vehicle with good driving history
• Ability to pass a background check
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Will be required to be come to our main office in Dayton, OH on occasion.
