Volunteer

Agape for Youth has many opportunities available for you to get involved. Please follow the instructions detailed below:

• Click Here for our Volunteer Application; complete and submit. (make sure to indicate if you'd like to volunteer, mentor, or tutor)
• Meet individually with the Youth Specialist Supervisor.
• Undergo the necessary background checks.
• Complete orientation.

 

Tutoring Opportunities

 

Mentoring

Agape's mentoring program seeks to match volunteers from the community to youth in foster care. Volunteer mentors provide positive role modeling by developing a trusting relationship with their mentee. Mentors provide a listening ear, support, and encouragement through engaging in regular one-on-one activities with their mentee.

Commitment: In order to develop and maintain the mentoring relationship, we ask that mentors commit to spending a minimum of four hours per month with their mentee on a weekly or biweekly basis.
